San Miguel Cloisonné
Mixed Media painting on Archival Clay Board in a Black Metal Floater Frame.
This painting is part of my Ecological Landscape series.
The San Miguel River Basin is an offshoot of the Dolores River in Colorado. The roads and paths show areas that are farmed and ranched. Just to the upper right beyond this image is the town of Nucla. This town is famous for its Cafe that requires all its employees to wear a loaded, holstered handgun… Yep!
